Good Vibrations Music Store is Tully's place for all things musical from instruments, lessons to music CDs. We are proud to do our part in serving today's musicians and musical aficionados. We also carry a range of Christian CDs and DVDs.
Who We Are
We love music and we want to share our passion with you. Whether you are a newbie to music or want to pick up a new instrument, our musical skill base is vast.
Good Vibrations Music store traces its origins to a music shop owned by Herc and Julienne and located in Midtown Arcade, Tully. In 1997, the store outgrew the space it was in and shifted to Taylors Arcade, trading for 5 years until Malcom and Marianne took over, relocating the store once more to Butler Street, and has stayed there since.
Eventually the store was sold to Sonja, who brought in instruments (and Darrell Lea chocolates), and was known as "Sonja's Good Vibrations". When Sonja moved on, Vanessa took over the business, and started to promote the local music industry. Vanessa organised the Evolve festival at Mission Beach, and was the editor for the Grapevine local info on music in the area.
Eventually the business was sold to Debbie Watson, a local music teacher who started her music career in 1973 at Harlequin Music in Indooroopilly, selling records, cassettes, 8-tracks, and Gibson and Fender guitars.
Debbie has since brought many talented music teachers on board to provide lessons and workshops to the children and adults in the area.
